My sweet little Annie turned 5 this year. I'm not sure how she turned 5 so quickly. It seemed just like yesterday that I was cuddling her hairy little 7 pound body in the hospital.
She's still cuddly. In fact, when I asked her what she wanted to do for her 5th birthday, she told me that she wanted to have a pajama party and watch #ToyStory4. So, working with a small budget, we shopped at #dollartree, #fivebelow, and #walmart for our supplies and here's what we came up with!
These pajamas were only $9.97 at #Walmart! And oh my gosh...isn't she adorable?
Decorations were simple, like when I was a kid. Streamers, balloons from Five Below, and of course, Toy Story toys!
Annie added her Pez Woody to the wall. She thought that the blue painter's tape would match perfectly!
Snacks were kept pretty simple since the party was in the afternoon. Annie's only request was hot chocolate and cake. We added in a snack mix of popcorn, pretzels, goldfish, and yogurt raisins.
When our guests arrived, we gave them each an empty bag and sent them off to different stations. Each station had a small prize for them to add to their goody bag which would be sent home at the end of the party. I had some excellent helpers at each station!
STATIONS
1. Coloring
2. Make your own Forkie
3. Tattoos
4. Toy Story Sorry Game
5. The Claw
6. There's A Snake in Woody's Boot
After the stations, we sang Happy Birthday to the birthday girl!
May all your dreams come true, Annie!
The kids scarfed down the cake and hot chocolate, then filled up their snack cups to take into our "movie theater."
Everyone seemed to have a great time, and clean up wasn't too bad either, which makes happy parents!
