Free Customizable Schedule for Families

Hi there!

We received a few emails this week from our beloved teachers and schools with the e-learning plans and suggested schedules. I am so grateful for educators and their innovation in continued learning in the midst of COVID-19.

As a teacher, routine is part of my job, and knowing that my students probably feel out of sorts due to the current changes in life, witnessing my own children maneuvering waves of emotions, and trying to step out of disorientation myself, I decided to make a schedule to encourage sanity and calmness.

You can download my FREE customizable schedule on my Teachers Pay Teachers store here. You will need Powerpoint to open and edit this schedule. I've told myself and my children that we are not glued to everything written on the schedule, and we will need to be flexible with one another. I explained that they've never been homeschooled, and I've never been a homeschool teacher, so we have to give each other grace.

Starting our mornings out with Family Bible Time has given us the attitude adjustments we all need to set the tone for the rest of the day. This morning, we read Psalm 121 today. We took turns reading it line by line, then verse by verse. I asked the kids what stood out to them in each verse. Here's what they came up with:

As you are teaching, learning, and adjusting to changes in life, I hope you remember that you are not alone. God is your Helper when you don't know how to do something. He is your Maker and knows you inside and out. He is your Watcher and knows what's ahead and where you've come from. God is your Keeper and keeps you in His thoughts and in His care. He is your Protector from danger. Finally, God is the shade that gives you rest. Rest in God today, friends.
