Chef Annie's Square Pancakes with Toppings

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

Um...yum! Sometimes I get tired of flipping pancakes, so when my friend, Heather told me about square pancakes, I was highly intrigued. My daughter, Annie, loves to bake and cook, so this was a scrumptiously creative project to keep her busy. These pancakes can be baked ahead and stored in the fridge or freezer- a perfect on-the-go breakfast!

Here's the video, and make sure you watch the taste test panel at the end. :)

Here is the recipe we used. The best part is coming up with your own topping ideas!

Square Pancakes With Toppings

Ingredients:

2 cups of your favorite pancake mix (We used Kodiak Cakes)

2 eggs

2 cups of milk (almond milk works great)

2 T of oil

Your favorite toppings

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Mix all ingredients together with a whisk except for toppings until smooth.

2. Pour mix into a greased sheet pan.

3. Top with your favorite toppings by rows so you can have a bunch of different flavors of pancakes. We used bacon & maple syrup, butterscotch chips & peanut butter, strawberries & cream cheese, and chocolate chips.

4. Bake at 350 for 17-20 min.

4. Other variations could include: bananas and pecans, cinnamon and sugar, peanut butter and jelly, cherries and chocolate syrup, and so many more!

Feel free to add your own variations in the comments below and please LIKE our Youtube channel! Thank you.
